1. About The Driver Hub
The Driver Hub is a web-based learning platform providing self-paced online courses specifically designed for professional drivers working in the transport and logistics sector. The content is intended to support ongoing training, awareness, and professional development for drivers operating Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs), Passenger Service Vehicles (PSVs), and other commercial vehicles subject to the jurisdiction of the Traffic Commissioners for Great Britain.
The Platform is developed, maintained, and operated by Beverley Bell Training Services Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales. The content available on the Platform is created in-house by qualified staff employed by the company and is tailored to industry standards, though it is not currently accredited or certified by external awarding bodies.
2. Eligibility and Access
The Platform is accessible to:
– Individual drivers who register and purchase access directly; and
– Businesses and fleet operators who purchase access on behalf of their drivers.
For business accounts, access credentials will be issued to drivers using their unique work email addresses. Each user account is linked to a single individual and may not be shared under any circumstances. Shared accounts or concurrent logins from multiple devices or users are prohibited and may lead to termination of access.
Business administrators may be given limited oversight of driver usage and completion records, where applicable, but driver learning accounts remain individual in nature.
All users must be at least 18 years of age and legally entitled to work and undertake professional driving activity in the United Kingdom.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
Access to The Driver Hub is granted through paid subscriptions. Users may choose between:
– Monthly subscriptions with rolling payments; or
– Annual subscriptions offered at a discounted rate.
Pricing varies depending on the subscription type and, in the case of business accounts, the number of driver accounts or tier of access purchased.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. Users may manage their subscription and billing details via their account dashboard or by contacting support.
While a formal free trial is not offered, some users may be granted temporary or complimentary access at the discretion of Beverley Bell Training Services Ltd, including during beta testing phases or under specific promotional arrangements.
4. Refunds and Cancellations
We offer refunds in accordance with UK consumer protection laws, including the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, and operate the following refund policies:
4.1 Subscription Refunds
– Users may cancel a subscription and request a full refund within 14 calendar days of the initial payment.
– If cancellation occurs after the 14-day cooling-off period, no refund will be issued for that period. Access will continue until the end of the paid subscription term unless otherwise terminated.
4.2 Individual Course Purchases
– Where a course is purchased as a standalone product, a full refund will be issued if the user cancels within 14 days and has not yet accessed any course content.
– If content has already been accessed within the 14-day period, refunds will not ordinarily be issued, unless the course is found to be:
– Misrepresented in marketing materials;
– Technically inaccessible due to system faults exceeding acceptable downtime thresholds;
– Substantially incomplete or unfit for purpose.
– No refunds will be granted after the 14-day period, except where required by law.
Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. All refund decisions are final.
5. Training Content and Intellectual Property
All training content provided on The Driver Hub — including videos, text, assessments, visual aids, and downloadable certificates — is the property of Beverley Bell Training Services Ltd. This content is developed in-house by subject matter experts with experience in the transport and logistics industry, with a particular focus on compliance, safety, and driver development.
By accessing the Platform, you are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to view and engage with the content solely for personal or business-related professional development, in accordance with these Terms.
This licence does not grant you any rights to reproduce, distribute, adapt, publicly display, or otherwise use the content outside of the Platform. Downloading or extracting content, in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited unless expressly permitted (e.g. downloadable certificates).
Users who purchase access through a business account may have their learning progress shared with the employer who provided access, where agreed in advance and in line with our Privacy Policy.
We reserve all intellectual property rights not expressly granted in these Terms.
6. Course Information and Disclaimers
The Driver Hub endeavours to ensure that all training content is accurate, up to date, and aligned with current industry standards and regulatory expectations at the time of publication. Our internal team reviews and maintains course content on a regular basis, with reference to developments in transport legislation, operational guidance, and best practice materials published by relevant bodies, including the Traffic Commissioners for Great Britain.
However, it remains the responsibility of the user to ensure that any regulatory, legal, or operational decisions made on the basis of the course content are cross-checked against the most current and applicable laws, guidance documents, or employer policies.
Neither Beverley Bell Training Services Ltd nor The Driver Hub shall be held liable for:
– Actions taken by users based on outdated or misinterpreted content;
– Misunderstanding of course material;
– Omissions, typographical errors, or inconsistencies in the training content;
– Loss or damage arising from the reliance on any content provided as part of the Platform.
Courses are educational in nature and are not intended to constitute legal advice, regulatory instruction, or professional certification unless expressly stated. Users should consult the relevant regulatory authority, legal adviser, or employer policy where formal interpretation or compliance decisions are required.
7. Support and Availability
Technical support and customer service are available to both individual and business users during standard UK business hours. Support may be accessed via the contact form on the website or by email.
While every effort is made to ensure the Platform is available 24/7, Beverley Bell Training Services Ltd does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Scheduled maintenance, updates, and unexpected technical issues may result in temporary unavailability.
A formal Service Level Agreement (SLA) setting out expected uptime and resolution times is available upon request or provided as part of certain business subscription tiers.
8. Acceptable Use and User Conduct
Use of the Platform must be lawful and in line with the intended purpose of professional learning.
Users must not:
- Share login details or allow unauthorised access;
- Access or attempt to access accounts or data belonging to other users;
- Download, copy, or distribute Platform content for external use;
- Upload malicious software, spam, or engage in activities that disrupt Platform operation.
Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of access, without refund. Serious or repeated breaches may be reported to relevant regulatory or professional bodies.
9. Termination and Suspension
9.1 By You
You may terminate your subscription at any time via your account settings or by contacting support. Where termination occurs within the refund period set out in Section 4, a refund may apply.
Following termination, your access to the Platform will cease at the end of the current billing cycle, and any progress or course history may no longer be available.
9.2 By Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at our discretion, without notice, in the event of:
- A breach of these Terms;
- Use of the Platform in a way that is unlawful, abusive, or disruptive;
- Non-payment or payment disputes;
- Business closure or significant operational changes.
Following termination, user data will be retained in accordance with our Data Protection and Retention Policies, available upon request.
10. Data Protection and Privacy
We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Details of how we collect, store, use, and share personal data — including rights of access, rectification, erasure, and objection — are set out in our separate Privacy Policy and Data Protection Policy.
By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of your personal data as described therein.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any disputes arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, regardless of the user’s location or place of access.
Notwithstanding that courses may be available or accessed in Scotland or Northern Ireland, any legal proceedings arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Dispute Resolution
Before resorting to legal action, both parties agree to seek resolution of disputes through good-faith mediation, using a mutually agreed independent mediator where possible.
If mediation is unsuccessful, either party may pursue legal remedies through the courts as set out above.
13. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time to reflect changes in the law, our services, or business operations. Material changes will be communicated to users via email or through the Platform.
Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
